Interstate 80 east from Pennsylvania into New Jersey was closed three hours early Thursday evening because of a tractor-trailer crash 1 mile east of the Delaware River, police said.
State police at Swiftwater said the 4 p.m. tractor-trailer crash, which spilled fuel, had forced the shutdown of the eastbound lanes for a cleanup. The road was reopened shortly after 7 p.m.
The accident was on I-80 in Hardwick Township, Warren County, just east of Delaware Water Gap.
