Police are looking for a missing man who may have been involved in a fiery fatal crash on Interstate 295 in Mount Laurel over the weekend.

New Jersey State Police said investigators are looking for 58-year-old Joseph Tiedeman of Burlington.

The 2011 Ford F550 truck involved in the accident was registered to Tiedeman, who was last seen at about 1 p.m. Sunday, police said.

The crash happened at about 8:45 p.m. Sunday, when the truck ran off the highway and into the center median, struck a Route 73 support post and caught fire.

Another man was found dead inside the vehicle.

Police said that man had been tentatively identified and is not Tiedeman. The crash victim’s name was not released.

The circumstances of the accident remain under investigation.

Authorities said Tiedeman was last seen at a Robbinsville moving and storage company, where he was performing mechanical work on company vehicles, on Sunday afternoon.

He is now listed as a missing person, police said.

Tiedeman is described as white, 6 feet 1 inch tall and 240 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a red t-shirt that read “Road Assist Professional,” black pants, brown boots and glasses.

He has connections to Pennsylvania and Delaware, officials said.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 609-298-1171.
