Voorhees Man Third Arrested for Luring – March 3, 2018
For the third time in two weeks, the High-Tech Crimes Unit (HTCU) of the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office arrested an adult male for attempting to lure a minor for the purpose of engaging in sexual activities.

Curtis Woods, 27, of Voorhees, believed he was chatting with a 14-year-old girl he met online, however, he had actually been sending sexually explicit messages to an undercover detective working with the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office HTCU. When Woods arrived at the agreed location in Runnemede on March 2, 2018 in the middle of a snow storm, he was met and arrested by law enforcement officers.
Curtis Woods was charged with second degree Luring, according to Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Runnemede Police Chief Paul Dailey.
Woods was also charged with Attempted Criminal Sexual Assault, Attempt to Endanger the Welfare of a Child, Attempted Criminal Sexual Contact.
Curtis Woods was remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility pending a pretrial detention hearing scheduled for Wednesday, March 7, 2018. Under Criminal Justice Reform rules, the court may order he be detained or released with conditions.
These charges were the result of an investigation conducted by the High-Tech Crimes Unit of the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office and the Department of Homeland Security Investigations – Cherry Hill Office.
The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office HTCU Detectives were assisted by members of the Runnemede Police Department.
All persons charged with criminal offenses are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.
