EAST RUTHERFORD – A 44-year-old Totowa man was killed in a motorcycle crash on Route 3 Friday morning.
Joseph Frederick was pronounced dead at 7:41 a.m., Chief Larry Minda said in a statement.
Frederick’s motorcycle appears to have struck the highway’s eastbound guardrail near the Route 120 overpass around 7:20 a.m., Minda said. No other vehicles were involved.
Two lanes of Route 3 East remained closed until 11 a.m., causing delays of up to 45 minutes.
