Police are investigating a crash that injured two children Tuesday morning in Winslow Township, New Jersey.
The crash occurred at about 5:50 a.m. when a pickup truck traveling northbound on Route 73 collided with a pickup truck traveling southbound on Fleming Pike.
Police say two siblings from the vehicle traveling southbound were rushed to Cooper Hospital. The 5-year-old passenger was flown by helicopter and the 11-year-old was transported by ambulance.
Both were in stable condition at the scene of the crash, police say.
Tow trucks worked to clear the scene near the crash, which caused travel delays for motorists.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
Police are asking any witnesses to contact the Winslow Township Police Department at 609-561-3300.
